Dim the lights...

Our trip to Lowes on Sunday was very promising, a couple gallons of paint, one for the mud room and another gallon of green for behind the fridge and up the stairs.  We also bought a dimmer switch for the kitchen lighting and new light switches for the light above the table and the morning room.  We started off with the electrical work...

Okay, I'm not going to lie, I was cooking dinner while Wayne worked on the lightswitch.  When it comes to electircal stuff, I have no idea what to do.  So we got the dimmer installed, but we need to get new light bulbs because our energy efficient lights do not work with the dimmer.  Not only that but the switches we bought for the other two weren't the right ones so I need to go back to Lowes to exchange them.  Needless to say we now have no light in the kitchen until i get the new switches.

On the other hand.... today is Valentines day, and I got some lovely flowers from the love of my life, as well as a delicious dinner at our favorite little mexican restaurant tonight <3

So tomorrow after work I am stopping by Lowes to get the new switches, and hopefully I will get the mudroom taped off so that I can paint it on Wednesday.  And with any luck we will get these projects done before the weekend.
