Summer Projects

It has been way too long since I have been on here, and since we have done anything to the house.  We have gotten a few little things here and there but no big projects have been completed in quite some time.  We keep talking about everything that we want to do but we never actually do it, so finally I put my foot down and made a list of our next projects:

1) Morning Room-paint and curtains
2) Bathrooms-Paint
3) Guest Bathroom-rugs, shower curtain, accessories
3) Build raised vegetable garden
4) Build Deck
5) Curtains for living room, kitchen, front entrance

Now that we had a list we were going to start chipping away at it.  Which we will still do, but fate brought me another couple of projects that I am currently working on...

Wayne's parents have a couple of rental houses in the city we live in and they recently had one of their tennants move out without notice (they were kind of crazy) well they took most of their stuff but did leave a few things of which we were able to pick through items that we wanted and ended up with a small dresser and a desk.  They weren't in too bad condition so I am currently working on sanding them all down so i can paint them.

I will post my step by step on these once the projects are completed.  Now off to enjoy the rest of this beautiful day <3
